摘要
关于词源学词根词缀等构词知识,前人已经做过比较完善的研究。本研究基于国内外关于构词知识对英语学习影响,将解决的主要问题有英语专业学生的构词意识强弱和英语单词学习是否存在某种关系,通过对文献的阅读,将相关的理论研究进行整合分析,从理论角度分析构词学习。研究方法是进行问卷调查和班级小测试。同时辅助应用了微软2010Excel函数分析功能以及计算机语料库检索软件工具来确定研究语料样本和进行部分数据统计工作。通过问卷统计分析英语专业大学生对词缀和词根等构词知识的学习总体情况以及构词意识强弱,再通过测试分析英语专业学生构词意识在单词学习的方面的应用情况,然后将两者相对比分析发现:英语专业学生普遍有构词意识,并且构词意识的强弱和英语词汇学习呈正相关关系,由此得出结论在一定条件下,构词意识越强,单词的学习情况也相应的越好。此外本研究认为在应该加强词根词缀及词源学的知识在教学中的应用,让学生有构词意识,从整体提高学生词汇学习水平。

【ABSTRACT】On etymology, root,affix and other word-formation knowledge, predecessors have done a relatively complete research. Based on the domestic and overseas research of the impact on word-formation knowledge in English learning, the main problem of the present research to be solved is that whether there is some relationship between word-formation awareness of English majors and English vocabulary learning. And after reading the relevant theoretical analysis of the word-formation knowledge and vocabulary leaning, the research topic is conducted from the theoretical perspective of word-building learning. The present study consists of a questionnaire survey and a small class test. Meanwhile, Microsoft 2010 Excel analysis function and computer corpus search software tools are used to confirm the study of corpus samples and partial data statistics. Through questionnaire statistics, we analyze the general situation of English majors' learning degree of word-formation knowledge and word-formation awareness, and then a test is designed to analyze the application of word-formation knowledge in their vocabulary learning. The following results are found: first, English majors generally have the word-formation awareness, second, the degree of word-formation awareness and English vocabulary learning have a positive correlation, if the word-formation awareness of the English majors is stronger, vocabulary learning will be better and easier for them. In addition, this study suggests that the application of word-formation knowledge such as root, affix and etymology should be strengthened in teaching process so as to make students have the awareness of word-building and improve the overall level of students' vocabulary learning.
